Jon Lowenstein was recently named to two prestigious grants for his multi-year examination of the lives of undocumented Latin American migrants to the United States. He won the 2008 Alicia Patterson Fellowship and the 2007 Getty Grants for Editorial Photography.

He also presented the work in collaboration with the Blue Earth Alliance at the 2008 Society for Photographic Education in Denver. He is currently working hard to complete the shooting component and is looking forward to the book, traveling exhibit and mult-media piece that will be completed and launched in 2009.
